Workshop’s objectives:

to discuss current models of interdisciplinarity;
to share experiences and expectations of collaborative research;
to discuss obstacles and benefits of interdisciplinary research collaborations within EURECA-PRO and beyond;
to learn about interdisciplinary competencies in a practical workshop setting;
to consider best practices of collaborative research.

The target group are researchers, project managers and doctoral students.
Participation is free of charge. The workshop will be held in English.

Programme:
10:00 – 10:15: Welcome: collaboration in the context of the European University initiative (EURECA-PRO)
10:15 - 11:00: Presentation by Dr. Anna Claus: "A Psychological Perspective on Interdisciplinarity"
11:00 – 11:15: coffee
11:15 – 13:00: Discussion of experiences, expectations, challenges of crossdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration (input from participants)
13:00 – 14:00: lunch
14:00 – 15:30: Interdisciplinary competencies (practical workshop)
15:30 – 16:30: Reflection on best practices of collaboration (group discussion)
