The call for student applications for the 2nd PRO-SLO PhD School, funded by EIT RawMaterials, is open!
The PRO-SLO project provides high-level education on the Social Licence to Operate (SLO) in the raw materials and mining sectors.
It equips PhD students with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainable development and build trust between industry and society.
Students learn to master the complex SLO process and how to bridge the gap between raw materials operations and economic, social and ethical discourse.
Registration
Application deadline: 15 December 2025
Target group: PhD students in the fields of raw materials, engineering, social, business, economic and environmental sciences.
Programme dates:
-> 9-13 Feb 2026 (online part)
-> 19-24 April 2026 (onsite part, Kassandra Mines of Hellas Gold S.A in Greece)
