EURECA-PRO is seeking a Secretary General to lead the representation and strategic development of the alliance and to oversee the operations of its newly established legal entity.
As the neutral executive of the EURECA-PRO Alliance, the Secretary General will act as a key link between nine European universities working together to build a transnational European University dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation of the alliance’s strategic roadmap;
- Strengthening external representation, communication, and partnerships;
- Contributing to long-term sustainability and fundraising efforts;
- Supporting the development and operation of permanent governance structures.
Full-time position
The position is full-time and is expected to start in November 2026, with an initial contract running until October 2027. The role requires regular presence in Brussels as well as frequent travel across Europe.

Together with our partner universities, the Secretary General will help shape the future of EURECA-PRO and strengthen the European Higher Education Area.
