On October 23–24, 2025, Hochschuldidaktik Sachsen (HDS), in collaboration with the Technical University of Chemnitz and the alliance ACROSS: European Cross-Border University, hosted the HDS.Forum 2025 under the theme “Individualisation in Higher Education. Inspiration from European University Alliances.”
The forum focused on the central question:
How does higher education teaching benefit from European university alliances?
European alliances are key drivers of internationalisation, digitalisation, and innovation in teaching. The event highlighted the tangible benefits these collaborations offer for both teachers and students and explored how cross-border cooperation can sustainably enhance university education.
The HDS.Forum 2025 provided a platform for exchange, inspiration, and best practices. Discussions centred on new didactic concepts, innovative assessment formats, hybrid mobility models, and the role of universities as social actors.
