Summary

In the context of D8.2 “Strategic and Action Plan document” for joint innovation structure utilization and specifically in Milestone 16, the scope is to conclude, based on the input received by the partner universities, on the Pilot Actions that will be tested in the alliance and thus provide additional feedback about the common elements for a joint innovation structure utilization strategy. Since Milestone 16 is an internal report, confidential and only for members of the consortium including the Commission services, this summary includes basic content that can be published.

In MS16, input was requested and provided by all partners on the following:

  1. The operation of a Mentorship program on innovation and the volunteering participation of mentors (a mentors’ list available for all partner universities of RE-EURECA PRO);
  2. The implementation of “Startup coffee” events in the university;
  3. The existence of a horizontal fabrication and innovation lab for the whole university.

In the context of proceeding with practical steps on the way to a ‘Joint Innovation Strategy’, while keeping the above as useful indicators, a set of pilot structures will be proposed for implementation and testing by all partner universities, within the first trimester of 2024, to offer valuable input for the “Joint Innovation Strategy” (final document and essential outcome of WP8). Possible adaptation on minor components of the pilot actions’ implementation will be made according to each university’s possibilities and characteristics. Detailed description of the pilot actions implementation will be offered in the D8.3 “Pilot actions”.
